Great Britain’s High Level Officials Were Showing Concerned on UFO Threat
Ministry of Defense in Great Britain stopped its operation in collecting UFO reports starting December 2009 as the office thinks that no UFO report has been confirmed or certified, especially the potential threat it brings to the country. But UK National Archives latterly released UFO files containing correspondence between the Ministry of Defense (MOD) and 2 high level military officials who were recommended that UFO cases should not be regarded lightly.
Baron Hill-Norton was the top ranking official among people who seriously convinced MOD to analyze the possible threats of aliens. As former Admiral of the Fleet, head of military panel in NATO, and Head honcho of the Defense Staff, this person got a powerful qualification as a tough and aggressive leader, meaning he didn't take statements or beliefs that are wrong or make no sense.
Seemingly, Lord Hill-Norton was having an interest in UFOs and wasn't satisfied on the conclusion of the MOD saying that UFO sightings were of no concern. He convinced the MOD thru his constant efforts in convincing the Defense to take in depth investigation on critical UFO cases. In the latest crop of UFO files in Great Britain, over 300 pages of correspondence between the MOD and Lord Hill-Norton are there.
Lord Hill-Norton sighted the incident in the Rendlesham forest in the night of December 1980. Many soldiers from U.S. Saw a UFO occurrence for over two days near the bases of RAF Bentwaters and RAF Woodbridge, which both on lease from Great Britain to the U.S. The bases were besieged by the Rendlesham forest. Assistant Base Commander Charles Halt was one of the witnesses and was ordered to send a note per what they noted to the MOD. Minister of State Defense Lord Gilbert recounted that the supposed UFO sightings weren't of interest on their end.
Responding to Lord Gilbert claimed, Lord Hill-Norton cited 2 probabilities either the UFO intruded our Airspace and landed on Earth or the officer of an operational, nuclear armed, England-based U.S. Air Force as well as his enrolled men were either lying or hallucinating. He continues that either of the two cited chances should simply be of interest to the Ministry of Defense.
Lord Hill-Norton further asked fragile question to Lord Gilbert if they are mindful of U.S. Air Force personnel’s reports the UFO seen over the base from December 25 to 30 in 1980 was fired using nuclear weapons. Lord Gilbert answered that no proof was found referring to such reports and continued that he intended not to confirm or deny the precise positioning of the nuclear weapons.
On the other hand, previous Undersecretary of State Ralph Noyes was the other UK government official petitioning, thru his letters, that the UFO incident be taken seriously. He revealed that he was not able to give his real opinion on the UFO phenomenon since he was scared to annihilate his working relationship with the RAF and systematic co-workers.
